MICHAEL DUFFY

VICE PRESIDENT, LEGAL SERVICES

Michael heads our Litigation Support service line of business and will expand Mindcrest's litigation services on a worldwide basis. With 30 years of legal experience, Mike has “seen it all” when it comes to litigation. 

Prior to Mindcrest, Michael was a partner in the Chicago office of Drinker Biddle and Reath, LLP. His litigation practice included extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, including land use litigation. He has had primary responsibility for more than 43 jury trials and numerous bench trials and contested motions.

In his national litigation practice, Michael has handled cases in courts throughout the U.S. His appellate experience includes arguments before the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts, including successfully arguing the definitive corporate practice of medicine case before the Illinois Supreme Court in October of 1997. In addition to U.S. corporations, Michael has represented many U.K. and European clients in various tribunals and courts in the U.S.

Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Mr. Duffy was an Assistant State's Attorney with the Lake County State's Attorney's Office where he served as Chief of the Misdemeanor and Felony Divisions.

A graduate of Kenyon College, he received his JD from Loyola University School of Law.
